Well I know, who isn’t these days? However, having been doing this for six years, I know how hard it can be to just make that first dollar. Well I’m going to give you a quick and easy little way to make some affiliate sales, and it will only cost you $5 in advertising costs. Now you guys know that I’m all about affiliate advertising as a means to starting your internet marketing business, honestly guys it really is the easiest way to make a buck in this crazy world. The product is already made up for you, the webpage put together with the proper adverting copy. You do not have to worry about shipping any products, or dealing with anything. Your only concern is to get targeted traffic to your site, that is it. Okay well here is how you do it. Go to Clickbank and sign up for an account if you have not already. Then pick something that has a very high “gravity” level.
This way you know it is a product that is selling like hot cakes. Okay now if you have not done this yet, go to Fiverr.com and open an account there. Its free as well, and will take you about 2 minutes. Okay now, on the right hand side where it lists the various categories, click “social marketing.” Then on the top bar, click “twitter.” Okay now you will see that people are willing to blast your ad to thousands, even tens of thousands of people for a one time fee of $5. It really can not be beat. Okay, pick a gig that you like and remember the advertisers name, it is important. Go back to Clickbank and click the promote button on the product you want to promote. You will receive an affiliate link. With that you will see below where it says “tracking id.” Place the advertisers name in that section.
Okay now you will have an affiliate link with the advertisers name from Fiverr.com on it. Now order the gig of Fiverr from that guy and give him the link to advertise to his thousands of followers. Here is another little trick to keep in mind, not all followers are alike, so try and make sure that the product your promoting will be the same as what the Twitter list is interested in. It should not be too hard to find a guy with a huge list and similar interests. So say your promoting an internet marketing product, and a guy on Fiverr has a list of 15,000 or more who are interested in marketing, well if only 1% click to buy that product, that 150 people! The average Clickbank product is around $30 commission, so $30 x 150 people = $4,500.00!!! All from a $5.00 gig you paid for. Now that is some serious and easy money.
Oh yeah, the reason I had you put the advertisers name on the affiliate link is to see who gets better buy through rates then others. Like I said not all Twitter lists will be alike, some guys have a better following then others, so you may need to try a few different people before you hit the jackpot, but trust me it is the easiest money you will ever make. Do you really trust anybody on the internet these days? Neither do I. However, if they have a testimonials page with dozens of videos, and written letter of real people with websites I can click to, and see that the person exists, it goes a very long way in building a trusting relationship. Thanks to all the scammer and spammers in the last fifteen years, the internet was almost destroyed for being a source of creditable information, and products. Thank god people stood up and started showing that not everybody was a flim-flam artist looking to make a quick buck. This is why it is important to make good friends and build relationships with people in your social networks, and customers who you do business with.
When presenting a new website, or product it is always difficult to get people to buy from you, unless they already know you. Or should I say, know of you. It can be a bit time consuming but I promise you it will totally pay off in the long run. When you have put together a good product, and people give you a nice praise, ask if you can place it on the product sales page, 99% of the time they will say yes. Because you will also offer to put a link to their product up as well. Its is good exposure for everyone. You wash my back and I’ll wash yours. It is an old concept in business, and a wise one. After a few weeks when hopefully dozens of people have bought, and you have put up all their testimonials, what do you think is going to happened to your sales when somebody new lands on your page and see 13 people who says it is the greatest thing since sliced bread?
That’s right you are almost guaranteed a sales, because you have gained trust without actually talking to the person. Basically, you will start you make money on complete auto pilot and improve conversions over time. They will continue to rise every time someone sees all the good thumbs up from other buyers. It is very wise to create a whole testimonials page on your website, sales page, blog, whatever. The more trustworthy you are the more money you will make. The other rings true as well, if people tell you there is something wrong with the product, do not get hurt or mad, learn from it, and fix it. There are going to be a lot of you out there just getting started this year, so if you are and you are reading this, before you do anything, you must start building email list. It is going to be your biggest money maker for the rest of your internet business life. So now you might be asking how do I build a list? Easy, here is what you will need start doing. First, go over to the PLR store and get a product that you will give away for free. Pick something in your niche, it can be anything you want. The when you have gotten your product, you will need to do a couple of other steps. Open up an email auto-responder account. Mail Chimp & Aweber are the best. Learn how to set up your auto responder, this is where you are going to email your free product to your customers, it is very easy, simply follow the video steps on your particular email service. Okay, the next step is a little trickier, you will need to create a new website called a “squeeze page” or “ capture page.”
You have probably seen them before, they usually are a one page site with a product and or video explaining that by simply inputting your email address and name you will receive this free gift. You will need somebody to create this for you. Simply go to Fiverr.com and look under squeeze page templates. There are web designers who will give you a pre made site that you can write anything you want in to fit your free product you got. Also use this site to have a video made. People love to see videos these days. Now you will need to marry this template video with your web hosting service and get a good URL name. When it comes to picking domain names simply pretend you’re the customer, what would you type in to find the free product your giving away? There is a lot more to keyword phrasing of course but right now, for this basic explanation, just go with your gut feeling. You can learn more in the Keyword Research section of this blog.
Okay, so now you have picked your domain name, had your video made up and gotten your squeeze page template. Put it with your hosting account. Now you are all set up. What happens is this, somebody lands on your email capture page, watches the video, likes what you are offering, gives you their email address and name, then your auto-responder sends out the free product to their email address. Now they are on your “sales list.” With your sales list you continue to give out a free product, or two every month then hit them with a sale. You do this over and over every month, forever. As your list grows so do your monthly sales, it can only go up! Treat your sales list like gold, because they are. Some basic rules with them. Send them an email at least twice per week. Do not worry if your emails are not some Earth shattering news or advice, try just sending them a “tip of the week type thing,” if you want.
